Jeff Addiego is entering his 28th season with the Warriors organization and his fourth as vice president of Golden State Sports Academy. In this role, Addiego oversees all youth basketball efforts which began in 2000. Addiego has played an integral role in growing the Golden State Sports Academy into one of the largest youth basketball programs in the NBA with more than 300,000 participants from all over the world. Addiego was promoted to his current role in August of 2022, following nine years as Senior Director of Youth Basketball.

In his tenure as Senior Director of Youth Basketball, Addiego and his staff launched the first NBA team-owned facility dedicated to youth basketball development in the United States. The facility, which opened in 2000, took the place of the team’s previous practice facility and was renovated to be a state-of-art performance center equipped with Shoot 360 technology. Golden State Sports Academy is the only youth basketball program in the NBA to be named to the Jr. NBA Flagship Network, acknowledging them as one of the 18 best-in-class youth basketball organizations in the country.

In addition to facilitating hundreds of sessions of Golden State Basketball Camp, Addiego has also directed various high-profile camps including: It’s Our Game (All-Girls Camp featuring Stephen Curry); The Overnight Camp featuring Stephen Curry; Run TMC Fantasy Camp (featuring Chris Mullin, Mitch Richmond and Tim Hardaway); The Overnight Camp featuring Draymond Green; Splash Brothers Fantasy Basketball Clinic (featuring Stephen and Dell Curry & Klay and Mychal Thompson); The Overnight Camp featuring Shaun Livingston & Zaza Pachulia; the Gold Medal Edition Fantasy Basketball Clinic (featuring Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson & Draymond Green); The Overnight Camp featuring 2022 NBA Champions – Gary Payton II, Juan Toscano-Anderson & Damion Lee; and most recently The Overnight Camps featuring Gary Payton II, Gui Santos Brandin Podziemski, and Trayce Jackson-Davis.  Addiego and his staff are also responsible for conducting Warrior for a Day clinics and community basketball events for many of the Warriors corporate partners and clients.

Addiego played on the San Francisco State University Men’s Basketball team, where he was a three-year starter and co-captain for the Gators (1995-98). While at SFSU, he received his bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies. His youth coaching experience includes a wide variety of levels including high school, AAU, CYO, YMCA and more.
